Conservation and restoration of European oil paintings from 1500 to the present day, offering in addition a specialist knowledge and experience of the work of many twentieth century artists.

  • MA degree in Fine Art at the University of Edinburgh.

  • A trainee on the Government Conservation and Restoration scheme at the National Gallery, London.

  • An Accredited Member of Icon The Institute of Conservation (ACR)

  • Awarded Fellowship of The British Association of Painting Conservator-Restorers (B.A.P.C.R)

  • Served on the Council of the BAPCR

  • Presented  paper "From Munnings to Mondrian" at the 2001 ICOM-UKIC Conference  'Deterioration of Artists' Paints' at the British Museum.

  • Contributed articles and reviews to ' The Picture Restorer'

  • Served the Institute of Conservation by working with the Continuing Professional Development review panel
